Viktor & Rolf (& La Roux): S/S 2011

With the inspiration of Hollywood in the ‘40s and a live acoustic of La Roux in the middle of the runway, the dutch duo surprised us again in Paris Fashion Week.

Wrinkled weaves, skinny ties, silhouette-wise and a touch of the old Hollywood glamour-turned-geek were some of the highlights of the exclusive show. Few people had the chance to enjoy the cool atmosphere made by the music of Elly Jackson –also known as La Roux- an english popstress of current note with strikingly boyish looks who gave the golden touch of the show with her acoustic songs. V & R explained the singer’s delightful look was the main reason why they chose her.
The runway leaves yet again its habitual side to turn into this exclusive scenario, were amazing things happen thanks to this duo who definitely knows how to set up a fashion show.

Inspirados en Hollywood de los años ’40 y con un recital acústico de La Roux en vivo y en directo en medio de la pasarela, el dúo holandés vuelve a sorprender en la semana de la moda de París.
Tejidos arrugados, corbatas delgadas, siluetas sabias y un aire al estilo old Hollywood con inspiraciones geek fueron algunos de los destacados de un desfile muy exclusivo. Pocas personas tuvieron la posibilidad de presenciar el ambiente relajado que se vivió de la mano de Elly Jackson -mas conocida como La Roux- quien lució su característico estilo masculino y cantó sus canciones mas populares de manera acústica. Los diseñadores explicaron que la cantante tiene la clase de look que los deleita.
Otra vez la pasarela deja su lado habitual y se convierte en un escenario de la mano del dúo holandés que, sin dudas, sabe como montar un fashion show.
