The Androgynous Human

As we all know, the roles of men and women have changed quite a lot in the last decades. Menswear collections are finding their way to catch everyone's eyes, construction, deconstruction, details, cuts, colors, silhouettes an so on.

While I was thinking about this and surfing the internet I found Kristoffer, a young Danish designer who has just graduated and launched a series of designs under the name of The Androgynous Human (I believe images speak for themselves so there is no need for me to explain what this is about).

Agustin: How did you notice fashion was your passion?
Kristoffer: I did not notice that fashion was a passion for me, but I did notice that I had to express myself and what I felt in some way, and with my passion for the human being, it ended up with fashion.

A: How do you think menswear will look like in 50 years?
K: The first thing I thought off was: will there be such thing as "menswear" in 50 years? Don't have a clue actually, fashion changes with its environment, the human sex, and the norms of society. So the question is, how will the world look like in 50 years?

A: Three things you must consider when designing:
K: Does the chosen materials work as a unit, masculinity, cut and details.

A: What's your main source of inspiration?
K: Atmospheres

A: An icon?
K: Dont have one, though i would like one.

A: A city?
K: Paris or Tokyo

A: If you had a time machine, where would you travel?
K: I would go back to the old roman empire and experience the atmosphere at the Colosseum in Rome
